CDP is hosting a new show on TV Hamilton. In the style of The View, CDP hosts, Mindy Finnerty and Sheri Lawson, and guests discuss local events, issues and businesses. Nothing is off-limits for discussion. This pilot episode talks about the needs and benefits of community development, the Center for Community Revitalization and Hamilton’s great local neighborhoods.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day (Oct 29, 2011)

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and its national and community partners will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.  On Saturday, October 29th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time, DEA and its partners will hold another National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day at sites nationwide.  The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.

CCR Office Suite 210 – Video Tour

Welcome to the Center for Community Revitalization.  The mission of Community Development Professionals is to partner with organizations to grow and nurture viable communities. Through the Center for Community Revitalization we can put tools and resources into the hands of organizations to help them operate more efficiently and more effectively.

This is a tour of Suite 210. 

This newly renovated 506 square foot suite features a 315 square foot front office with closet and divided wall for additional privacy.  This suite has a private 108 square foot office with 2 large windows that connects to a kitchenette.  This is the only suite that offers a kitchenette.   An additional 48 square foot room is also attached to the kitchenette and can be used for a variety of functions including office space, break space or storage.  This suite is available with or without the furniture shown.

CCR Office Suite 200 – Video Tour

This is a tour of a Suite 200. 

This newly renovated 458 square foot suite has five large windows that provide an abundance of natural lighting and a nearly 180 degree view of the city. This suite is available with or without the furniture shown. This suite also features a built-in book case, closet and is the only suite with a private bathroom.

Community Resource Center – Video Tour

Welcome to the Center for Community Revitalization.  The mission of Community Development Professionals is to partner with organizations to grow and nurture viable communities. Through the Center for Community Revitalization we can put tools and resources into the hands of organizations to help them operate more efficiently and more effectively.

This is a Tour of the Community Resource Room.

The Community Resource Room contains a community office, small conference room and Executive Board Room.  The Community Resource Room is shared by members of the CCR.  This recently renovated space features a large gathering area with a professional quality printer copier and member mailboxes.  A small conference room that seats 4 is available by reservation.  The board room seats up to 16 and features internet access, executive cabinetry and seating and 16 foot conference table.  Audio visual equipment including a VHS player , DVD player, HDMI and PC video cables that connect to a 52“ Plasma TV.  Suite 180 is a Community Office available for use by reservation this space features a private work station that accommodates 2 -3 people and a computer complete with Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe Creative Suite for marketing.

The Community/Training Room features a large drop down projection screen with sound system, ceiling mounted projector and audio visual equipment.  This newly renovated space can accommodate up to 50 people and has a dedicated entrance, white board and internet access.  In addition this space offers a kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, sink and serving counter.

The Center for Community Revitalization was established by Community Development Professionals to provide a stable, affordable location for establishing and nurturing partnerships between community stakeholders such as: non-profits, local government, community based businesses and education institutions.
